Vision Statement Our vision is to provide solutions to our community’s problems in a timely and efficient manner. We focus on providing our community and people around the world with humanitarian support to alleviate the social, cultural, and financial problems they are facing in their everyday life. We strive to handle each community member’s issues with accountability and responsiveness, as if we were protecting and safeguarding members of our family. We focus our attention on providing workable solutions for our community members who are facing dangers of discrimination and work hard to transform their lives. Our vision reflects our values: integrity, service, excellence, and dedication. Mission & Objectives The mission of KDN is to help people and families of kechene community and others to re-establish their lives and give a sense security, stability, development and empower the youth to be productive and to foresee a better opportunity. Our goal in general is to provide opportunity and improving the lives of underprivileged youth and elders and families in our community and around the world. KDN primary objective is to finance people-focused social and economic development projects. The Fund aims to finance projects that meet critical needs selected based on their potential to make the highest positive impact on groups and communities in Ethiopia in such areas as health, education, development, technology, small scale entrepreneurship and other income and employment generating projects. KDF is targets projects focusing on youth, women, elderly, and small enterprises and entrepreneurs, who can be agents of inclusive social and economic development.
